From its majestic mountains and famous fjords to its modern yet picturesque cities, Norway is simply one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Picture-perfect landscapes beg to be explored by foot, car, bike or boat.
Whether taking in the breathtaking wonder of the northern lights or the summer sun glistening on a massive glacier, Norway is a great adventure in any season. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in Norway: Number 10. Alesund. Located on Norway’s west coast, Ålesund is the gateway to the iconic northwestern fjords and surrounding alpine mountains. The city of Alesund owes its present-day picturesque appearance to a city-wide reconstruction, after a fire in 1904 destroyed most of the town. The city was rebuilt with stone and brick in the architectural style of the time, and stands today as a perfect example of Jugendstil design https://denaliwest.com/top-15-strategy-games-like-age-of-empires/. From the nearby hills, there are some breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding fjords and mountains. Number 9. Tromso. Located in the far north of Norway, Tromso is set on an island amidst lovely blue fjords and spectacular snow-capped mountains. One of the northernmost places that you can visit in Europe, the city actually lies around 350-kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. As such, it is one of the better sites in Norway from which to view the Northern Lights. With loads of pubs on offer, a healthy cultural scene and lively nightlife, visiting Tromso can be great fun. Number 8. Trondheim There’s something for everyone in the northern city of Trondheim. Founded in 997, Norway’s third largest city was the country’s capital during the Viking Age and the nation’s religious center during the Middle Ages, making it the ideal destination for those who want to explore Norway’s history. There is a sense of timelessness about its laid-back streets, as people leisurely go about their lives. Alongside its rich cultural heritage, there is a contemporary arts and music scene, due to the large university campus. Number 7. Jotunheimen National Park Jotunheimen, or Home of the Giants, is Norway’s premier national park. Located in the nation’s south central region, the park encompasses several mountain ranges, including the highest peaks in Norway.. The park is also home to Vettisfossen, which at 900 feet is the highest waterfall in Norway. Mountain lodges and well-marked trails in the area offer visitors easy access to glacier hikes, mountain climbing and skiing. Tour companies and trekking associations offer outdoor adventures for visitors of every age and skill level. Number 6. Svalbard. The Svalbard Archipelago in the Arctic North is a land of dramatic snow-drowned peaks and glaciers, of vast ice fields and forbidding icebergs. Its settlements are the northernmost permanently inhabited spots on the planet, far more northerly than any part of Alaska. Svalbard’s visitors come mostly to experience Arctic nature at its rawest and most powerful. A once-in-a-lifetime destination, this is a land where there are double as many polar bears as people. Number 5. Oslo. The capital of the country is full of amazing architectural designs that highlight the contemporary feel about the place, as do the educational museums and interesting galleries. Lying next to the sea, with mountains surrounding it, Oslo is one of the greenest cities in the world, thanks to its forward-thinking eco-friendly policies. This makes it lovely to walk around. In fact, residents can find themselves skiing, trekking the forests, or sailing along the Oslo fjord’s waterways in no time at all. Number 4. Sognefjord. As Norway’s largest fjord, Sognefjord offers huge fun and adventure. Visitors here can choose from a wide range of exhilarating adventures like riding the world’s steepest railway through snow-capped mountains and around cascading waterfalls. Other activities include hiking along scenic trails and cruising around the magnificent fjord and its many branches such as Nærøyfjord; the wildest and most beautiful branch of the Sognefjord. Number 3. Lofoten Islands. Lofoten is a group of islands in the northern part of the country. With its postcard-looking small fishing villages dotting a very rugged coast with abrupt peaks rising directly from the ocean, the archipelago is often described as one of the most scenic parts of Norway. Although the archipelago is located well above the Arctic Circle, at about the same latitude as Greenland it enjoys a relatively mild climate due to the circulation of the Gulf Stream. Temperatures up to 23°C in the summer are not uncommon although it remains a subarctic destination and the weather changes fast. Number 2. Bergen. Norway’s second largest city, Bergen has been the nation’s leading western port since the Middle Ages. Today, its 15th-century waterfront in the Bryggen district is both a working port and a tourist destination for visitors eager to sample fresh fare at seaside restaurants. Although Bergen makes a great home base for explorations of the scenic fjords around the city and the neighboring islands, there’s plenty to see within the city as well. A quick trip up Bergen’s popular funicular is a good way to get oriented in the place known as the Gateway to the Fjords. Number 1. Geirangerfjord. With its remarkable scenery of deep blue waters and majestic mountains, it is no wonder that the Geirangerfjord is among the most visited Norwegian fjords. When visiting here, a must-do is a sightseeing cruise on the fjord to view its astonishing beauty and its famous waterfalls, the Seven Sisters, which plunge directly into the fjord. Other exciting opportunities abound here as well like winter skiing, excellent fishing, canoeing and hiking trails that provide some of Norway’s most dramatic views.

I think I have an idea where he might be. Frieza: You're a fool to think you could just waltz on into Hell, and not be completely eradicated by your lordship.. Goku: Grhh..! Frieza!! (This power lock has got to go! How do I even get rid of it..? I wonder if Vegeta got rid of his..) You know Goku, you seem like you've been slacking in your training, but I remember seeing a while back that you killed Majin Buu.. Maybe it has something to do with your little, what is it? The mumbo jumbo involving power suppression..? What a pity. To be reduced to nothing, but scraps, all because of a little magic! I wonder who could have done this to the mighty Goku... Oh well. I don't care that much.. Time to die, monkey. Frieza: (maniacal laughter) Frieza: SCREAM, MONKEY! SCREAM!! Ahhh, this feels good... Ack..! Damn it..! What is it gonna take break this lock..? Still alive, you damned dirty ape?! Cell (off screen): Still playing with your food, I see... Huh-? Aww, crap.. Well, if you don't mind me, I'll go ahead and take out Goku now. What?! No!! He's already nearly dead! And I'll emphasize "nearly." Just stand down, Frieza. I'll finish this for you.. I'd KILL to kill Goku a second time, if you know what I mean... ENOUGH!! Ah-? I have had enough of being treated like I'm some weak, helpless thing! Good to hear! Then now you can rest easy, Goku.. Huh? Well, if it isn't the prince himself... Eheheheh! Somehow how I knew you'd show up to help me.. Vegeta: I'll take care of Cell. You can keep entertaining Frieza. Interesting.. Vegeta is helping me out..! Not for long, Frieza! Once I'm done with Cell, I'm coming for you next!! Thanks Vegeta. I'm starting to see a way I could beat Frieza, but that would have been a huge problem if you didn't come.. Good. This won't take long... Oh, and just so you know, I lifted my power lock when I beat Zore. What, already-?! You mean you haven't yet? No.. I've been trying, but I can only get to Super Saiyan 2. Are you two done babbling? I'd like to kill SOMEONE! Kill? HAH! Oh, I dare you to try and kill me, Cell! All right, Frieza! I can keep-! Haha!! What-? Piccolo: It's been a while since I got to witness the power of a Fusion.. Bandi: He's so fast! It's incredible..! Piccolo: And, that's not all! They have complete control over the fused body despite having never done it before! Narux: Missed me! Narux: Come here-! Here we go-! Ahh.. just in time! They did it-! Just in time? What do you mean? Shurx: Hey, I mean Narote wasn't the only one in control! I knew better than to say what our weakness was in front of the opponent..! Narote: But the viewers need to always understand what's going on. So guess what time it is..! Exposition time! Parallel Fusion has.. a time limit? Yeah. Although it's not really a "time" limit. Huh-? Well, it's like, uhh.. Well... Shurx, explain the time thingamajiggy! So let me get this straight. You figured out how to fuse, but you don't know how you did it..? Haha! I don't blame him. This is kinda hard to explain. Spit it out! Okay, basically the way Parallel Fusion works is that we fuse into a being that doesn't actually exist. We manipulated time with our Time Transmission and figured out how to use Sutoren Fusion to fuse into one being. if you think about it, this form in and of itself is manipulating time, and we're adding our own matter into the universe at the same time. It takes a lot of durability to stand up to the pain while fighting. We just didn't show our pain, except the times we were getting hit by Broly.. haha! Wait, so you're telling me that the only reason you guys ever got in that battle... is because you were fighting off internal pain?! Yeah, it still kind of hurts my belly, but if we learn how to endure that pain, we can probably even fight battles like that and not get hit even ONCE! Well, that takes care of Broly then, which means my mission is done! Wait. What about Goku and Vegeta? Don't worry about 'em. Their fights are much too dangerous for you! What? How do you know..? I can sense it. Whoever Goku is fighting is even more powerful than the two of you fused together.. Ah-! That means he especially needs our help then, right?? We need to stay away from them. I won't allow you to go into that fight. We need to get back to Trunks. B-but-! No "buts"! You two are coming with me, and that's final! Narote, come on. You know you're exhausted after that battle anyway. Stop acting like you're all fine and dandy after that. Well, yeah my body aches, but that shouldn't mean I can't help my friend! He'll be all right. He has Vegeta down here. You haven't seen it, but when those two fight together, they can do things everyone else can't even DREAM of doing.. Really? Vegeta doesn't look all that tough.. he's short and has weird hair! Don't let Vegeta's appearance deceive you, he's a dangerous guy. We're lucky to have people like him and Goku on our side. If they were to turn evil, we'd be screwed.. And on that note, let's start heading back to see Trunks. He's in Toki Toki City right now. Okay... Follow me. The portal's this way! Narrator: With Broly gone for good, the Time Patrollers are now one step closer to quelling Hell's chaos! Will Goku and Vegeta succeed in taking down both Frieza and Cell? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Budoten: Element X! However, you also have to show that you know the organization and the field. It is a great idea for you to do some elementary preliminary research on the activities of the firm and on the trends in the industry. This will help you for the job interview as well.
Ask your resume editor to give details in your cv: why you should be picked for the position, your abilities and qualities that are essential for the job. Be realistic and prudent in your writing and take care that you do not end up praising yourself excessively in the cover letter, which could irritate the interviewers. You may safely declare the desired message by concentrating on three to four core features that are the most vital for the position and develop them in a professional way. You must ideally support your statements with an example from your experience to illustrate that you are capable of that skill. You ought to add another section to the cover letter which should mention your significant accomplishments relevant to the sphere. Be as brief as it can be and prevent indicating any needless achievements that have no place in the cover letter. Make your point apparent as concisely as you regard appropriate. The final paragraph of the cover letter should contain the finishing parts of the letter. You should say thanks to your recruiter and express the hope of getting a reaction from them of this cover letter. Mention that you eager to react to a positive reply from their side and conclude the letter with compliments. In this way, you may prepare the right resume cover letter that could make a difference as far as your choice is concerned. I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and what is more important I hope you learned something from it. If you did, please share your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below. I love reading you you have to say, because reading your comments helps me to improve my blog! Thank you! The year is 1953. Queen Elizabeth II of England was coroneted. The first issue of “TV Guide” was published. The Academy Awards aired for the first time on NBC. And the magnificent western, “Shane” won the hearts of many moviegoers across the country. Shot in Technicolor, “Shane” presented brilliant landscapes and amazing scenery. Considered by many as one of the greatest westerns of all time, “Shane” doesn’t disappoint. The story brings action, drama, and romance to the western genre. The film stars Alan Ladd as Shane, Jean Arthur as Marian Starrett, and Van Heflin as Joe Starrett.
Our story begins when we see a young boy by the name of Joey aiming his rifle at a deer in the proximity of his family’s property, then almost out of nowhere we see a mysterious figure on horseback that draws closer and closer. Eventually this man reaches the property and introduces himself as a man by the name of Shane. He is a lonesome man, just passing through the countryside that is until the ruthless gang of the Ryker gang turns up causing trouble. Shane immediately reaches for his pistol, as a precaution, and claims that he is just a friend looking to work for the family that he has stumbled across. After the Ryker gang leaves, the family, as we now know as the Starretts, are very wary of Shane, except for little Joey who sees Shane as a hero. They are not sure what his intentions are or where he is coming from. After helping to protect the Starretts, Shane is asked to stay and this is when the family, especially Joey, gain a liking for Shane. Joey looks at Shane as a father figure, asking him to teach him how to shoot and other things that all young boys want to learn. Starrett eventually offers Shane a job to help him out with his homestead. Joe Starrett also forms an alliance consisting of many of the homesteaders as well as Shane to fight back against the Riker brothers. We learn that the Riker brothers want all of the homesteaders gone so that they can let their cattle roam free. This is something that Starrett cannot for. We have seen Shane as a mellow, quiet man up until this point of the story. Shane’s second visit to the saloon involves some confrontation. The first time he was there, the Ryker gang, specifically Calloway starts to jab at Shane and he eventually throws his whiskey on Shane’s new shirt. The second time Shane returns to the saloon, he lets loose his anger towards these men, fist fighting his way against numerous enemies. Soon, Joe Starrett rushes through the doors of the saloon to help Shane in his fight. The two make a great team, as we have seen throughout the movie so far and defeat the Ryker gang for now. Joe Starrett has been failing at getting homesteaders to side with him and fight against the Ryker’s and when one of the homesteaders is killed in cold blood, Joe believes he must take matters into his own hands. Shane won’t let that happen. He is too fond of Joe to let him go to the town and end up getting killed. Although there is evidence throughout the film that Shane has a growing romantic interest for Marian Starrett, and if he let Joe go fight Ryker, that would leave Marian and Joey without a man in their lives. As the story is told, Shane is too good of a man to let this happen. He fights Joe, knocking him out and heads of to the town by himself, where he is forced to confront the gang. Shane knows that no matter what happens, after this fight he must leave the town, as he tells Joey, “There's no living with a killing. “There's no going back from it. Right or wrong, it's a brand, a brand that sticks.” Personally, I am not a huge fan of the movie “Shane.” I prefer westerns that focus on the action and less on the dramatic story telling. I feel that “Shane” lacks the action that I look for in a western. I am not saying that “Shane” is a terrible movie, in fact it is a very well made movie and it is a classic that will be loved by people for many ages to come. “Shane” is a great western for people who prefer more drama in their westerns than action. If you are looking for great storytelling and less action, then “Shane” is the movie for you. |
